1. Beautiful quilt. I have played with hearts a little bit but seems like they must be appliqued, which is not my thing. Were you able to piece the hearts together? Or did you have to applique them. Color is beautiful.

   • Hi Judy! These are not appliqued. Applique work is too fussy for me. Actually I haven’t been quilting for quite some time. Other things have taken over my life, like nature. I made this quilt for my Mom back in 1996 and had forgotten how I pieced the hearts. I had to go look at it to refresh my memory! Mom died a year and a half ago, and the quilt came back to me. I’ve just taken a close up of a couple of the hearts that I’ll email to you. Hoping the pictures are clear enough.

   • Thank you Mary! You are too sweet! Wish I could devote time to quilting now. I’m sure it would be so comforting. But as you can see here, my blog has taken over and with it the modern world of computers and the frustration that sometimes accompanies those computers. If only Kevin still lived here with his VAST knowledge of such things!!
