It’s a first for the vegetable garden. Garlic (Allium sativum). Planted several months ago. It’s been a learning experience to see it coming up, green leaves reaching for the sky. And now flower buds atop their stems, bending in unison, Rockettes style. Who would have thought that garlic dances in the garden?!

Only you and I, dear cousin!
Hahaha! Bev, the plants in the vegetable garden feel the need to dance to please the fairies, don’t you think!?

Garlic scapes! Yummy! We get these (and of course the mature garlic later in the season) from our CSA farm! Before we joined,a number of years ago,I had never heard of garlic scapes. Who knew?
Hi Judie! I was just reading about them. So much fun stuff to learn in this world.
Sending you and Dave hugs!
