Mournful Thyris (Pseudothyris sepulchralis), a moth that is active during the day. They are about 5/16 inch in length and have a wingspan of about 7/8 inch. Adults take nectar from flowers of herbaceous plants. As adults they live for 2 to 3 weeks.
