Poison Ivy (Toxicodendron radicans). I know, not something you really want to think about. I’m right there with you. I’m highly allergic to it. BUT birds, including many woodpeckers, LOVE the berries. So I enjoy the Poison Ivy too, because of the birds, though I certainly try not to touch it.

As a child, I picked them for a fall bouquet because I thought they were pretty! That was a big mistake!
Oh NO! That must have been really tough. Ugh. My granddaughter is 7 years old and I’m really working to get her to know Poison Ivy. This makes me think, I’d better get her able to identify the berries and the flowers too. Thanks for reminding me of that!
