Sunshine Yellow Flowers In Winter

Winter Aconite (Eranthis hyemalis). Given to me a few years ago by a dear friend. A small patch in the garden glowing with the color of happiness, right now, mid-February. Not a native to North America, but of France, Italy and the Balkans. In my garden it’s well behaved and hasn’t spread at all, so Winter Aconite has earned my seal of approval.

  1. Mine are all in bloom also, all over the place where they have spread. This is fine by me but I planted twenty years ago and don’t remember which variety I have.

Your photos are always beautiful, especially your pies! 🙂

    • Hi Nancy! I always love to hear from you. My little patch of Winter Aconite is getting more and more dense but is not wandering anywhere.

I appreciate so much, your very kind comments about my photos and my pies. Both taking photos, and making pies is pure pleasure for me.

Thanks bunches for reading my posts!
